President Minckler next discussed a proposed group of presenters for the May 18th general meeting.

á       She reported that no council members would be able to attend because they were meeting the same evening.

á       Christine Ginsburg of the Twinbrook Civic Association has been invited to attend to inform the community about the County CouncilŐs decisions on the Twinbrook sector plan.

á       Donald Becker indicated he would have a poster size map of the region delineating the borders of the Aspen Hill Civic AssociationŐs territory.

Donald Becker informed the board that he will be updating the associationŐs website and adding links to sites of community interest.  Also to be placed on the site is a membership form that can be downloaded.  David Polinsky requested that his address appear with the form so there would be no confusion about where a completed form is to be sent.

The spring newsletter was next discussed.  President Minckler said she would see to its printing and delivery to David Polinsky who would arrange for its mailing and for an email blast about the upcoming general meeting. President Minckler requested help from board members in generating the text for the newsletter.

Dwayne Holmes reported that the camera ready art work had just been received from Linda Robbins and that he would undertake arranging the printing process for delivery in about two weeks. Carol Petzold added that she would shortly deliver precinct maps to President Minckler so the distribution of the cards by board members could be arranged.

David Polinsky inquired if he should arrange for board meeting space at the library during the months of July and August when board meetings in the past often lacked a quorum.  Following discussion, the board unanimously decided not to schedule meetings during July and August.

Dwayne Holmes requested that all intra-board email carry ÔAHCAŐ in its subject line.  It was agreed that this should be the case.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:38 PM.
