Dear Neighbors:

My name is Simon Weaver, and I'm honored to serve as the President of the Aspen Hill Civic Association. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share our vision for the Aspen Hill community.

Above all else, our top priority is simple: connecting neighbors and building community. Aspen Hill is a wonderfully diverse neighborhood full of people who care about where they live. But too often, we go about our daily routines without ever meeting the people just a few doors down. I want to change that. Whether it's through community forums, neighborhood conversations, or simply creating more opportunities for us to come together, I believe that a stronger Aspen Hill starts with neighbors who know each other.

We in the Association also aim to grow our membership so that more voices are represented when decisions are made that affect our neighborhood. I'm committed to improving how we communicate and stay connected with residents as well as those who represent us throughout the levels of government. And I'll continue the association's proud tradition of advocating on local issues that matter to Aspen Hill, making sure our community has a seat at the table.

The Aspen Hill Civic Association has been serving this community since 1985, and that legacy now belongs to all of us. Whether you've lived here for decades or just moved in last month, I encourage you to get involved. Join as a member. Attend a meeting. Say hello to a neighbor. Every small step builds a stronger community.

I'm excited about what we can accomplish together. If you have ideas, questions, or just want to introduce yourself, please don't hesitate to reach out through our Get Connected page.

Welcome to the neighborhood.  Welcome back if you've been here all along.

Sincerely,

Simon C. Weaver

President, AHCA 2025-26
